1. Terms of use
1.1. Acceptance
By accessing and using steinersystems.ro (the "Site"), you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1.2. Purpose of the Site
The Site is informational. The content describes services offered by Steiner Systems — electrical installations, structured cabling, data-voice networks and related systems — and does not constitute a binding commercial offer. Any commercial engagement is formalised through a separate written contract, following a specific quote.
1.3. Intellectual property
All content on the Site (text, images, logo, graphics, structure, blog articles) is owned by Steiner Systems or, where applicable, its partners, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use without prior written consent is prohibited.
Partner/client company logos are displayed with the consent of the rights holders and remain their property.
1.4. Limitation of liability
Technical information and articles are general in nature. While prepared with care, Steiner Systems does not guarantee that they are exhaustive, fully up to date, or applicable to your specific situation. For technical or investment decisions we recommend you request individual consulting.
Steiner Systems is not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of information on the Site without prior verification in a professional context.
1.5. Site availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site available at all times, but cannot guarantee there will be no technical interruptions. The Site may be modified, updated or partially retired without prior notice.
1.6. Changes to the terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the "last updated" date shown at the top. Continued use of the Site after a new version is published constitutes acceptance of the changes.
1.7. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes will be settled amicably or, failing that, by the competent courts at Steiner Systems' registered office.
2. Privacy policy (GDPR)
Steiner Systems respects your right to privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679, "GDPR") and applicable Romanian legislation.
2.1. Data controller
The controller of personal data collected through this Site is Steiner Systems S.R.L., with its registered office at Str. Zăgazului nr. 14, Târgu Mureș, Mureș county, Romania.
For any request regarding your data, you can contact us at office@steinersystems.com.
2.2. What data we collect
We only collect personal data when you explicitly provide it via the contact form:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Content of the message you send
In addition, by browsing the Site we automatically collect some technical information — see the Cookies section.
2.3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
Data submitted via the contact form is processed exclusively to:
- Respond to your inquiry — legal basis: taking pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- Maintain a record of communication — legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller in managing its business relationships (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- Comply with legal obligations — where required, retain correspondence in line with tax or commercial law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
2.4. Recipients of the data
We do not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data on a limited basis with:
- Email and hosting service providers (e.g. Google Workspace, Vercel, Resend) — strictly for the technical delivery of communications;
- Public authorities — only where there is a legal obligation to do so.
Some of our technical service providers may process data in other EU/EEA member states or in the United States (under the Data Privacy Framework), subject to appropriate safeguards under GDPR.
2.5. Retention period
Contact data is retained for as long as necessary to respond to the inquiry and, if a commercial relationship results, for the period required by contractual and tax legislation (typically 10 years after the end of the relationship). In the absence of a commercial engagement, data is deleted or anonymised within a maximum of 2 years.
2.6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the following rights regarding the personal data we process:
- Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you;
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — subject to the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR;
